Delicatus Tropical

The close-up view of each stone type shows a relatively true image of the crystalline structure and the colouring. This is suitable for grained slabs to a limited extend only. In regard to the colour matching, please take an original sample of the stone from your furniture store as a basis.

Petrography

This pegmatite has a largely granite composition. It consists of white feldspar, transparent quartz and silvery sheen muscovite chips.

Petrogenesis

Pegmatite of this kind marks the final phase of plutonic rock generation. The granite magma is already solidified in several kilometres depth. Residual melts, containing a lot of dissolved steam and often rare chemical elements, enter into the cracks and clefts of the still hot rock. Mostly extraordinary large crystallised aggregates are formed. Rocks of this kind are unique. They are found in only very small quantities!
