Verde Guatemala Rajhastan
The close-up view of each stone type shows a relatively true image of the crystalline structure and the colouring. This is suitable for grained slabs to a limited extend only. In regard to the colour matching, please take an original sample of the stone from your furniture store as a basis.
The dark green mineral serpentine dominates this rock. Brighter zones contain carbonate compounds like dolomite or calcite. Only very few rocks show a comparably intensive green colour.
Serpentinite is generated under higher pressure and temperature, the conditions of a metamorphosis, from olivine-rich (ultra-basic) magma rocks like peridotite or picrite basalt. There are only a few serpentinite deposits which allow quarrying and use as dimension stone.
