Originally founded in 1961, the Salone Internazionale del Mobile is now a major design and furniture fair with over 2,000 exhibitors. 

The latest innovations from the furniture and interior design industry are presented across 142,000 m². 435,000 visitors from 188 countries come to Milan every year. Milan Furniture Fair – Between Classic, Modern and Design The style and furniture on display can be divided into classic, modern and design. 

The architecture of the exhibition stands and the staging of the products at the fair and in the Zona Tortona are unparalleled, which is why the fair is very popular with interior designers, stylists, furnishing consultants, furniture dealers and trend scouts. In addition to the actual exhibition grounds, the latest innovations of the year are on display throughout the city in the numerous showrooms of well-known brands. In the so-called Zona Tortona, the district around Via Tortona, young designers and labels that cannot yet afford a stand at the fair present themselves and fit better into the urban environment of the former factory lofts along Via Tortona. 

In recent years, “Ventura Lambrate” has also established itself, a former industrial area where old company premises, workshops, and new buildings alternate with huge brownfield sites. Small labels, universities, galleries, and artisans in particular present themselves here. The big fashion brands and car manufacturers also use the Milan Furniture Fair to present themselves to an audience interested in design.

The furniture manufacturer DRAENERT will once again be represented with a stand in Hall 9 H05 this year.
