Salone internationale del mobilE - International Furniture Fair Milan

Originally launched in 1961 the Salone Internationale del Mobile is today an important furniture and design trade show with 2,000 exhibitors.  The current show occupies 142.000 m², presenting the latest news from the home furnishing and interior sector.  Annually 435.000 visitors from over 188 countries come to Milan.

The style of the presented furniture reflects classic, modern and design.

Alternatingly this furniture fair will be supplemented by the Euroluce, a trade show for lightning systems and lamps and by the Eurocucina, a tradeshow for kitchen furniture.

At the „SaloneSatellite" 700 young designers get the possibility, to present their ideas and visions and to come into contact with the manufacturers.

The architecture of the exhibition stands ,the staging of the products on the fair and in the Zona Tortona is unparalleled and due to this very popular for interior architects, stylists, interior consultants, furniture dealers and trend scouts.

Apart from the main exhibition ground, throughout the city, in numerous showrooms of famous brands, the innovations of the year will be as well presented. In the so-called Zona Tortona, in the quarter around the Via Tortona, young designers and labels present themselves, which cannot afford a booth at the fair and which fit better in the urban concept of the former factory lofts along the Via Tortona.

In recent years the “Ventura Lambrate” has been established, a former industrial area, where old factory areas, workshops, and new buildings alternate with wastelands. Mainly here are presented small labels, academies, galleries and artisans.

As well the major fashion brands and the car manufacturers profit from the Milan Furniture Fair, presenting them to a design savvy audience.

The furniture manufactory DRAENERT is presented with a booth in hall 7 stand M26.
