Dreaming Green
The close-up view of each stone type shows a relatively true image of the crystalline structure and the colouring. This is suitable for grained slabs to a limited extend only. In regard to the colour matching, please take an original sample of the stone from your furniture store as a basis.
Petrography
Green silicates like chlorite and yellow-green epidote are embedded in the light-gray, fine to medium grained dolomite marble in varying concentrations.
Petrogenesis
Dolomitic silicate marbles of that type originate in sedimentary rock which was deposited on the sea ground. Clays and other material of volcanic activities were temporarily embedded in the calcareous/dolomitic layers. High pressures and temperatures during a later folding-up of the mountains resulted in the present,
very decorative composition.
