Fusion Gold

The close-up view of each stone type shows a relatively true image of the crystalline structure and the colouring. This is suitable for grained slabs to a limited extend only. In regard to the colour matching, please take an original sample of the stone from your furniture store as a basis.

Petrography

The rock is intensely folded. The bright bands consist of a mixture of white feldspar and transparent quartz crystallites. Black biotite dominates in the dark layers together with colorless transparent quartz.

Petrogenesis

Paragneisses of this type are highly metamorphic rocks. In the process, clayey-sandy sediments on the seabed were initially solidified into sandstone with clayey layers. Later, when continental masses collided, these sediments came under high pressure and high temperatures until just before melting. Previous flat layers become folded and have crystallized.
