Spider Green

The close-up view of each stone type shows a relatively true image of the crystalline structure and the colouring. This is suitable for grained slabs to a limited extend only. In regard to the colour matching, please take an original sample of the stone from your furniture store as a basis.

Petrography

White calcite veins are imbedded at irregular distribution frequency in the main mineral of dark green serpentine. Rocks of this kind are often wrongly called “Green marble”.

Petrogenesis

Serpentinite was generated under the conditions of metamorphosis (under high pressure and temperature) from olivine-rich magma rocks like the igneous rock peridotite.
