White Salt
The close-up view of each stone type shows a relatively true image of the crystalline structure and the colouring. This is suitable for grained slabs to a limited extend only. In regard to the colour matching, please take an original sample of the stone from your furniture store as a basis.
Petrography
This is a pure white marble, consisting almost completely of relatively coarse crystalline lime spar. The rather large crystallites cause a clear transparency.
Petrogenesis
Marble was generated under high pressure and temperature during high mountain range folding up from limy sea sediments. It has a clear crystalline structure in contrast to the original limestone.
